(side note: Still don't have access to the Process Monitor tool. Subject to reduced monitoring requirements. I'm holding off on changing this to solved until I test a few other things on another user's computer and figure out if it's related to the AeccNetwork file. processes and petroleum production, and can also come from gas stations. Just need to find out WHY there were 9700+ groups in multiple drawings and HOW they got there but that will have to wait until someone comes back from vacation. Process Monitor 3.91 File Size : 3.4 Mb Process Monitor 3.91 File Size : 3. 1) there was the AeccNetwork.dbx file (for 2014, 2015 & 2016), 2) there were the 9700+ groups within multiple drawings being xref'd back and forth into each other, 3) I was trying to fix drawings that were actively being worked on so as I got one thing cleaned up something else would pop up in another drawing, get that clean then things are messed up in the recently clean drawing, 4) there were files and/or network paths that were either missing or wrong (that's what I get for leaving AutoCAD alone for a while and focusing on Revit). Process Monitor is an advanced monitoring tool for Windows that shows real-time file system, Registry and process/thread activity. Although I'm not sure how to go about getting an older version of that file that works will all three versions of Civil 3D that we have installed so I can test that through with a (partial) fix! *high five* The use who I had test it on his computer (using AutoCAD MEP) doesn't have the AeccNetwork.dbx file so maybe, just maybe, that will fix it. Users just started complaining about it last week. I guess this will be my next course of action although I don't believe there have been any updates/SP's installed within the last two weeks or so because I'm sure I would've heard of this happening sooner. I've got Civil 3D 2013/2015/2015 installed and they each have a different version date (and not the one mentioned in the post). Process Monitor is an advanced monitoring tool for Windows that shows real-time file system, Registry and. I've read a few posts about the AeccNetwork.dbx file and the version date. We recently had a new piece of software installed but I had the IT department uninstall it to rule it out. Our IT department has things locked down pretty tight so there's very little I can do on my own. I don't know what's available for restore points (if any) on my laptop.
